The Community Friends for Human Services, Inc. (CFHS) provides aid to those in need. Established in 1950, CFHS is a non-profit 501c3 organization that funds and facilitates programs at several non-profit agencies. The programs CFHS currently assists include: the DA.R.E Massachusetts programs, the Elizabeth Stone House for Battered Women and Children, the Wrentham Developmental Center, Work, Inc., Vinfen- The Atlantic Clubhouse, the Pine Street Inn, the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, The Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Brockton VA Hospital, Town House Clubhouse, Fall River and Rosie’s Place. CFHS provides volunteers and funding for these and other non-profits. By working directly with staff and clients at these organizations, CFHS helps identify unmet needs and provides support to meet those needs. In the past, CFHS has provided food, furniture, clothing, and scholarships. CFHS has also provided funding and volunteers for dances, picnics, and holiday parties. All Funds donated to CFHS go towards the programs that CFHS supports.
